SAP FI Lead Consultant

Responsibilities

● Participate in the analysis, design, configuration and deployment of SAP FI modules within SAP S/4HANA, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking and SAP Cash Management. ● Work with business users to gather and analyze financial requirements, ensuring that SAP FI solutions align with S/4HANA best practices and enhance operational efficiency. ● Perform SAP FI system configurations based on functional specifications and industry standards, emphasizing S/4HANA finance functionalities. ● Collaborate with other SAP functional teams (e.g., CO, MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration of SAP FI with other business processes and SAP S/4HANA modules, including SAP applications like Concur and Ariba, as well as non-SAP systems for regulatory reporting and electronic document interchange (EDI) with counterparties. ● Assist in the development of test cases, participate in system testing and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality implementations that leverage the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA. ● Support SAP FI system users by troubleshooting and resolving functional issues post-implementation, utilizing knowledge of S/4HANA finance functionalities and best practices. ● Document SAP FI configurations, processes and procedures to ensure proper knowledge transfer and compliance with documentation standards specific to SAP S/4HANA implementations. ● Assist with data migration activities related to the finance module during system implementations or upgrades, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), particularly in the context of S/4HANA migration. ● Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the SAP FI system, including regular updates and process improvements, while integrating new S/4HANA features as they become available. ● Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, including SAP S/4HANA migration projects, and contribute to the adoption of new S/4HANA finance functionalities and tools.

Requirements/Qualifications

1. Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. English proficiency level B2 or higher (written and spoken). 3. 4+ years of experience working with SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA finance. 4. Hands-on experience with at least 1 full-cycle SAP FI implementations, preferably in S/4HANA environments. 5. Ability to travel for project needs, if required. 6. SAP FI certification (SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP S/4HANA) is preferred. 7. Ongoing professional development in SAP FI and S/4HANA technologies is encouraged.
